Una storia di appartenenza e servizio

La cittadina di Verulengo non può essere compresa appieno senza guardare verso le colline che la sovrastano, dove sorge l’antico e nobile centro di Mura da Verulengo (foto in alto). Sebbene Verulengo vanti radici millenarie che affondano nell’epoca dei Reti, la sua vita civile, amministrativa e giuridica moderna gravita indissolubilmente attorno al suo capoluogo.

Dal punto di vista istituzionale, Verulengo è una frazione di Mura da Verulengo, il centro più importante da cui dipende l’intero territorio circostante. Situata a circa cinque chilometri di distanza dal cuore del capoluogo, Verulengo (foto a destra) si estende lungo la direttrice della Strada Provinciale 9a, fungendo da vitale snodo pianeggiante ai piedi dell’insediamento fortificato di Mura.

Il centro nevralgico della vita pubblica per ogni cittadino verulese rimane il Palazzo del Podestà a Mura, sede del Comune e cuore della democrazia locale. È lì, ai piedi della monumentale Scalinata della Ragione, che si decidono le sorti e lo sviluppo della nostra comunità, sotto la guida del Sindaco e della giunta municipale che amministra congiuntamente Mura e le sue frazioni.

La decisione è stata presa in seguito al grave fatto di sangue che ha colpito il cuore amministrativo del nostro capoluogo, Mura da Verulengo, nelle prime ore del 2 aprile.

Il ritrovamento del corpo di Samuele Bertacchiani, segretario particolare del Sindaco Giosuè Bonetti, all’interno di un baule abbandonato in Piazza del Podestà, proprio ai piedi della Scalinata della Ragione, ha innescato un vero e proprio terremoto istituzionale.

Mentre il Palazzo del Podestà è assediato dal silenzio delle indagini e dal clamore dei media, il Commissario Pietro Girgenti e il suo team sono al lavoro per far luce su un evento che sembra essere ben più che un tragico delitto: un messaggio oscuro inviato direttamente alle istituzioni in piena campagna elettorale.

In questo momento di incertezza, le pagine del sito dedicate all’amministrazione e alla cronaca sono sospese per permettere il caricamento di nuove direttive e aggiornamenti ufficiali sulle indagini in corso.

Invitiamo i cittadini alla calma e al riserbo, in attesa che la verità emerga dalle fitte mura di silenzio che avvolgono il nostro comune.

Il portale tornerà operativo non appena le autorità competenti avranno ristabilito l’ordine e la trasparenza necessari.
